TOOTING MARKET
Year 6 from Furzedown primary school have been doing an extremely fun project on Tooting Market. Its a very friendly place and has everything there. Its a multi-cultural place. There are foods from almost all over the world the world, traditional clothes from a variety of different countries.
You can buy a huge amount of things you want and its not very expensive at all. the people and even customers are all very kind and friendly. Some people do there everyday shopping there!
So, year 6 have been doing a film project on this market. We've been writing poems, interviewing people who have been working there for a long and short period of time and we have even got to know quite a few of the shop keepers there!
When I first went to the market to meet the people there i personally and probably everyone else i think we all felt loved and like were one big family. Everyone knows everyone and everyone are always there for each other. in this picture you can see all the different cultures and how everyone is loving and cares about each other.
